Alia Bhatt Tests Negative for Covid-19 After Brahmastra Co-star Ranbir Kapoor Contracts Virus
Alia Bhatt has been closely working with Ranbir Kapoor and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who have both tested positive for coronavirus.

Alia Bhatt has tested negative for coronavirus, a news report has confirmed.

It stated, “Alia takes the test nearly every day and today also she has tested negative but has still isolated herself. Ranbir Kapoor caught the virus on the sets of Brahmastra and is recovering currently.”

After Ranbir’s mother recently confirmed that the actor has tested positive for coronavirus and is on medication for the same, Alia’s Gangubai Kathiawadi director Sanjay Leela Bhansali had also tested positive for Covid-19 which worried many of Alia’s fans as she is working closely with both Sanjay and Ranbir for her two upcoming movies.

Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor confirmed, in a social media statement today morning, that her son had tested positive for the novel coronavirus. “Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self-quarantine at home and following all precautions,” Neetu shared on Instagram.

While Brahmastra release date is to be announced, Alia’s Gangubai Kathiawadi will release in cinemas on July 30. She has also announced her production house recently and her first movie will be Darlings.
