Director and filmmaker Karan Johar dropped the trailer of his next Ajeeb Daastans today and the anthology promises a lot of action, thriller, suspense and twists one can’t see coming. The trailer opens by showing montages of the four different stories and each frame is packed with chaotic energy from which the audiences can’t turn their eyes.
Johar shared the clip on Twitter and wrote, “It’s here… A collaborative effort, yet uniquely individual. Presenting #AjeebDaastaans with 4 exceptionally talented #DirectorsOfDharma, coming together to weave 4 individual stories that are stranger than reality itself.”

Produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, four exceptionally talented directors–Shashank Khaitan, Raj Mehta, Neeraj Ghaywan, and Kayoze Irani–have come together to weave four profound stories that are stranger than reality.
The stories will explore the complicacies in human lives and relations, dealing with themes like love, entitlement, jealousy and toxicity.
It will also see an ensemble cast of Fatima Sana Shaikh, Jaideep Ahlawat, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Abhishek Banerjee, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditi Rao Hydari and Tota Roy Chowdhury. With this anthology, Karan Johar promises the audience that the stories will take them to places they never thought they would be. It is scheduled to release on Netflix on April 16.
