Bhavana Ramanna is a popular actress in the Kannada film industry who has been a part of some of the most popular films in her career. The actress is known for her impeccable talent and has been the recipient of various awards throughout her career. She is not only known for her acting but has mastered the art of Bharatanatyam as well. Recently, the actress has been in the limelight for rearing a cow and its calf in her own house. The actress has showcased her love for animals and their protection through this gesture. Recently, she even shared her experience of rearing a cow in her house in an interview.

According to reports, Sandalwood actress Bhavana Ramanna has reared a cow named Gowri and its calf at her house in Bengaluru, Karnataka. While interacting with the media, the Kannada actress has revealed that it has been an excellent experience for her to rear a cow in the hustling, bustling city of Bengaluru. But she added that the cows have kept her grounded and have helped her connect to a simpler reality. She added that since her childhood in Malnad, she had always wanted to keep a cow. So when her neighbour offered to keep a black cow with white spots on its body, she couldn’t say no. She also added that, at that time, she didn’t know that she was pregnant.

Talking about her cow’s shelter, she revealed that initially, she was quite worried about its living space. But she added that she is thankful that she has a garage at her home. She added, “A feeding bunk, a linear water space for them to hydrate, and a clean, dry area for resting were created. That’s when I realised the importance of debunking this misconception that we can’t rear cows in a city.”

Recently, the actress came out in support of Sandalwood star Darshan, who has been behind bars for the Renukaswamy Berber murder case. She said that she has no hesitation in standing up for art and artists. She also urged that the media should also show the other side of the story.
