Treat your body as Lamborghini not Nano, says MS Dhoni's former fitness expert Jasmin Waldmann

In an exclusive interview with IBNLive.com, Jasmin revealed various aspects about her experience with MS Dhoni and some easy knacks to help you maintain a healthy lifestyle during this lousy winter season.

When asked about her training sessions with MS Dhoni, she referred to it as a great experience. "He’s a nice person with a calm character. And he loves kids", she added.

While explaining the benefits of maintaining a balance between diet regime and workout sessions, she said, "It is important that you move and workout, without exhausting yourself. It creates the happiness hormone endorphins. Your diet needs proper organization and execution. Food should be enjoyed – at any time. And one has to understand the right measurements as well as the type of food one needs".

When asked about ways to tackle laziness and stay fit this winter season, she replied with some on-the-go exercises including going to activities like rock climbing, adventure parks or walks instead of fancy brunches. "Commit yourself to feel and use your body. Do things yourself and become more responsible for your own lifestyle; like taking your dog, going for shopping yourself. You’ll see it is fun when you focus on it."

She wishes to use everything around her in a way that becomes fun with a basic mantra in mind; ‘move wherever you are’. "The idea is to use what is around you. Make games out of them; a chair, stair house, or a table. If there is a stair house, you can have a race who will reach first."

To make the younger generation more interested and aware of their health consequences, she simply asks them to think of their body as a Lamborghini – not a Tata Nano. "Junk food is so old-fashioned! Get the new style which is agile, eloquent and spontaneous. Fit and always ready for adventures is in. Think of your body as it is a Lamborghini – not a tata nano. So give it the best of the best food and it will do magic for you. You feel good, look good and get the best!"
