The unique concept which originated in Japan, has become popular among international visitors.

Japan has been known for its unique innovations and pod hotels are one of them. Unlike traditional hotels that have massive rooms and numerous amenities, pod hotels focus on simplicity, making them an ideal choice for budget travellers and those looking for short-term stays. The unique concept which originated in Japan, has become popular among international visitors. Recently, a pod hotel in Noida has been turning heads by offering luxurious features at affordable prices, starting with Rs 1,000 for 12 hours. An X user shared her firsthand experience after spending eight hours at Nap Tap Go. As per her post, she was particularly impressed by the colour-changing lights and the cleanliness of the washrooms. The hotel also provides private rooms at similar pricing.

In her post, she provided a detailed look at the unique-looking controls for fan speed and lighting, charging ports and a button to lock the doors. While the interior feels spacious, and clean and features a minimalistic design, the exterior looks like a scene from a futuristic film. However, she highlighted that the pods lack soundproofing and mentioned, “when someone moves, you can feel the disturbance.” She shared that the hotel charges on an hourly basis and during her stay from 4 AM to 12 PM, she paid only Rs 1000, which she found to be quite affordable and mentioned that prices are even lower during weekdays.

During her stay, she also shared some photos of a private room and believed that it might be soundproof. According to her post, the common area is spacious and includes a vending machine where guests can grab quick snacks.

She added, “Why did I decide to stay here? pod hotels are quite common in Japan so I was curious to try it. I was also skeptical at first, but surprisingly, it did not feel claustrophobic or unsafe.”

Meanwhile, she also sheds light on a common concern many travellers have, what if someone accidentally gets locked inside a pod? She explained that, in such a situation, there’s a manual option to open the pod from the inside. This feature ensures that guests won’t feel trapped if something goes wrong and can exit safely.

While both the Private Pods and the Room Suite have similar amenities, there are key differences in their capacity. The Pods are perfect for solo travellers and the suite is more spacious, which allows room for one adult and one child.
