In a lengthy note, Haasan shared that she’s experiencing the ‘worst hormonal’ imbalances, however, she refuses to look at her situation as a fight. According to the renowned star, she has decided to face her bloating and metabolic challenges as a ‘natural movement’ that will involve her eating right, sleeping well, and enjoying her workout session.
What are PCOS and Endometriosis?
PCOS is a hormonal disorder, common among women of reproductive age that causes infrequent or prolonged menstrual periods and excess androgen levels. As a result of the syndrome, the ovaries tend to develop numerous collections of fluid which fail to relay eggs at regular intervals. According to the World Health Organization over 116 million women (3.4%) across the globe are affected by PCOS. On the other hand, Endometriosis is a painful disorder in which tissues that normally lines the inside of the uterus, grow outside of the uterus.

I know I sound a tad preachy but it’s been such a journey to accept these challenges and not let them define me.. so ….! I’m so happy to share this with all of you”.
