Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas are happily married newlyweds and the pictures are a proof

The first pictures from Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra and American singer Nick Jonas’ Christian and Hindu weddings are out. The couple’s pictures were shared by Hello! magazine.

For the Christian wedding, Priyanka adorned a customised handcrafted Ralph Lauren white gown with floral and lace tulle appliques and high neck sheer collar.

The embroidery was made out of Swaroski crystals, beads and pearls. Psst! The gown took 1,826 hours to be created. She left a trail of 75 feet long veil.

On the other hand, Nick Jonas also wore the same designers Purple Label black tuxedo and looked his dapper best in a patent lace up shoes.

We couldn’t help but notice he attached the lace from Priyanka’s dress engraved with ‘My Jaan’ which translates to my life in urdu literature.

In an interview with Hello Magazine, Priyanka Chopra said, "For the western wedding, we had been talking to a bunch of incredible designers," shared Priyanka. "But ultimately when Ralph Lauren approached us (they're so much a part of our love story for obvious reasons) and I learned that Ralph has only designed three wedding dresses in 50 years - one for his daughter, his daughter in law, and his niece - I was blown. Then when we went in for the sketch presentation, they created exactly what I envisioned for myself on my wedding day... and I said yes to the dress."

For the Hindu ceremony, the couple painted the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace in the color of red and gold.

She looked like a quintessential traditional Indian Sabyasachi outfit. In a deep red lehenga with heavy embroidery and sequin work.

In the interview she added, For the Indian wedding, I wore Sabyasachi," revealed the Bollywood star. "I always knew I wanted a red traditional silhouette for my wedding but Sabya brought in incredible French embroidery to the mix and with incredible jewelry and western inspired veil it was just such an amalgamation of who I am!"

On the jewellery front, Priyanka wore traditional gold ornaments and jai mala (flower garland). Her neck also adorned a Chopard necklace which had 184.50 carats of diamond set in 18k white gold.

On the other hand, Nick Jonas looked like a traditional Indian groom in a hand quilted golden sherwani with a chikan dupatta and a chanderi safa. He also wore a diamond necklace are from the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry collection.

The couple tied the knot in a two-day event at Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace on December 1-2. After completing the nuptials, the two were spotted at the airport heading for Mumbai.

The couple solemnised their relationship with a Western wedding on Saturday, followed by a traditional ceremony as per Hindu customs the next day. The star-studded nuptials were attended by the couple's family members, including Nick's brothers Kevin, Joe and their respective partners, Danielle and Joe's fiancee, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner.

On Friday, following their arrival at the Umaid Bhawan Palace, the couple had held a Mehendi ceremony, where Priyanka had henna designs applied to her hands. On Saturday after the Christian marriage service, an elaborate dinner and the after-party was organised that apparently went late into the night. The couple also hosted a dance off with their families at the party.

The marriage comes just three months after the pair was engaged in August in a traditional Indian 'roka' ceremony. The pre-wedding festivities for the couple, who has been on a celebration spree ever since they kicked-off their respective bachelorettes.
