1. Sirpur

Chattisgarh is widely known for its rich cultural heritage and the Laxman temple in Sirpur is one such place. Constructed by Maharani Vasta Devi in the 7th century, the temple was discovered by Lord Cunningham in 1872. Other places you can visit when in Sirpur include, a Jain Vihara, 12 Buddha Viharas, 22 Shiva temples and monolithic statues of Mahavira and Buddha. 2. Burhanpur
