The 60th Baeksang Arts Awards are just around the corner and fans are eagerly anticipating the reunion of Park Bo Gum, Suzy and Shin Dong Yup as hosts for the 6th consecutive year. This trio captivated audiences with their delightful chemistry and impeccable hosting skills. Shin Dong Yup’s extensive tenure as a host at the Baeksang Arts Awards is truly remarkable, with reports indicating that he has helmed the event every year except for 2017 when Park Joong Hoon stepped in. This year marks Shin Dong Yup’s impressive 10th year as a host.

Suzy, on the other hand, has been a consistent presence at the awards ceremony, hosting for the 9th consecutive year since her debut at the 52nd Baeksang Arts Awards. Her grace and charm have made her an icon of the awards, reports Soompi.

Adding to the lineup is Park Bo Gum, whose charming and friendly demeanour has endeared him to audiences globally. With this year being his sixth as a co-host, fans are eagerly anticipating the continued evolution of the chemistry between him, Suzy and Shin Dong Yup.

The organising committee of the Baeksang Arts Awards has praised the trio for their remarkable chemistry. “The three MCs add up to a total of 25 years of hosting experience at the Baeksang Arts Awards. Now, they boast chemistry in which they can communicate just by looking at each other’s eyes. This year is even more meaningful as it is a monumental year celebrating the awards ceremony’s 60th anniversary,” the committee said, as reported by Soompi.

The 60th edition of the Baeksang Arts Awards is set to be a grand affair with a night filled with glitz, glamour and celebration of the finest achievements in Korean entertainment. The ceremony will take place on May 7 at the COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, marking a significant milestone as it celebrates six decades of honouring excellence in broadcast, cable and streaming TV content as well as domestic films and theatrical productions.

Renowned for its star-studded attendees and memorable performances, the ceremony will be broadcast live on JTBC, JTBC2 and JTBC4, starting at 5 p.m. KST.
