Attention, fans of South Korean Actress Moon Ji In! The popular star is all set to embark on a new journey as she prepares to get married to comedian Kim Ki Lee. The official announcement of their wedding was made on January 29 by Kim Ki Lee’s agency, Media Lab Siso, and Moon Ji In’s agency, Sim Story. The wedding ceremony is planned for May this year. Reportedly, it will be an intimate celebration in Seoul.
Expressing his happiness, Kim Ki Lee shared, “I am extremely happy to have met someone with whom I can look together in the same direction with the same mindsets.” Moon Ji In, equally thrilled about the union, remarked, “[Kim Ki Lee] is a person who thinks of me sincerely. We will become a couple who tries to maintain the same mindset and attitude toward each other,” as per their statements reported by Soompi.
Talking about their careers, Kim Ki Lee made his debut on SBS Gag 1 in 2006 and went on to achieve recognition as KBS 25th Open Comedian in 2010. His career flourished, after his appearance in KBS 2TV’s Gag Concert.
Beyond comedy, he expanded his presence as an actor, working in projects like Zombie Crush: Heyri, the drama Superhuman Family, What’s Wrong with Mr Poongsang, and Seoul, Please Take Care of Me. Currently, he is actively engaged in the play Hertz Klan.
On the other hand, actress Moon Ji In stepped into the entertainment industry in 2009, selected as a talent during SBS’s 11th open recruitment. Her acting journey continued with roles in various dramas, including I Don’t Know Women, My Love By My Side, Miss Korea, Secret, Yong Pal, Doctors, Times, and Kill Hill.
Since 2022, she has been a regular on SBS’ ‘Girls Who Hit Goal and has also been working as a member of the FC Actionista team. As the couple looks forward to their impending marriage in May, fans and well-wishers eagerly anticipate the next chapter in the lives of Kim Ki Lee and Moon Ji In.
