BANGALORE: High Court Chief Justice Vikramajit Sen on Wednesday sent a stern warning to the advocates who were boycotting the court proceedings and demanding the ouster of two senior ministers and transfer of two top police officers over the March 2 violence in the City Civil Court complex.“I was promised on eight occasions that you will call back your protest, but it has continued. It is not possible to have your way,” Sen told president of Advocate Association Bangalore K N Subbareddy and others when they met him seeking to call back the extra police personnel stationed on the court premises.Hundreds of advocates headed by Subbareddy staged a hunger strike on Wednesday in front of the City Civil Court. Law Minister S Suresh Kumar held talks with advocates and appealed to them to call off the protest. But the advocates weren’t convinced and demanded action against police for “assaulting” some advocates on March 2, and against the media for allegedly portraying them in poor light.
