Will solve water crisis if voted to power: H D Kumaraswamy
Former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy came down heavily on the ruling BJP and said that the BJP government has failed on all fronts.

“Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar is acting according to the will of former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa.

 He has not been able to take a firm decision regarding the development work or administration,” rued former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy.

 He was speaking at a JD(S) convention in Bangarpet on Sunday.

KPCC member Ramachandrappa, who unsuccessfully contested on a Congress ticket from Bangarpet, joined the party along with his supporters on the occasion.

 The former chief minister came down heavily on the ruling BJP and said that the BJP government has failed on all fronts.

 “Though BJP is listing out its achievements, including Bhagayalakshmi scheme and beneficiaries for widow and aged, it was proposed and streamlined by me,” he claimed.

 The BJP government, which assured of solving the issues of farmers, has miserably failed to waive farm loans, he ridiculed.

 He called upon the voters to give a chance to JD(S) to solve the problems of common man.

 “If the JD(S) comes to power, we will solve the water crisis in Kolar, Chikballapur, Bangalore Rural and we have plans to provide loans to poor and roadside vendors,” he assured.

 Former railway minister Yatnal, former minister P G R Sindhia, district JD(S) president Venkatashiva Reddy and former MLA M Bakthavatchalam also spoke.

 Meanwhile, former minister H D Revanna on Sunday in Hassan alleged that the state and Centre had failed to tackle the drought in the state.

 He said that the state government is yet to consider the drought situation seriously and most Cabinet ministers have not visited the drought-hit areas
