West Bengal Recruitment 2018 to fill 161 posts of Sub Inspector and Lady Sub Inspector of Excise has been initiated by the West Bengal Police. In a notification released by the WB Police, eligible candidates are invited to apply for these job positions online on the official website - policewb.gov.in as well as in offline mode. Academic Qualification:

1. The applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized university. 2. The applicant must be proficient in Bengali/Nepali and should be able to speak, read and write the same.

Age Limit:

The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 20 to 27 years as on 1st January 2018. Age relaxation rules apply as per State Government’s laws.

Pay Scale:

The selected candidates will be placed in the monthly salary bracket of ₹7,100 to ₹37,600, with grade pay of ₹3,900.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of Preliminary Written Examination followed by Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Final Combined Competitive Examination and Personality Test.
