West Bengal: Jute mill workers beat CEO to death

Hooghly: In a tragic incident, the workers of a jute mill in West Bengal's Hooghly beat their CEO to death.

The workers were angry with the CEO, SK Maheshwari and pelted stones at him and beat him with iron rods. The factory's General Manager and Chief Security Officer were also injured in the incident.

Maheshwari was referred to a hospital in Kolkata but he died on the way. While police sent the body for post mortem, arrests are yet to be made in the case.
