US sharing info on Headley: Krishna
Headley admitted to his role in plotting the Mumbai terror attacks on Thursday.

New Delhi: External Affairs Minister SM Krishna on Friday said the US has been sharing information about Pakistani American terrorist David Headley, who has admitted to his role in plotting the Mumbai terror attacks.

"It goes without saying... I have no reservations," Krishna said in a television interview while replying to a question on whether the US was honest and upfront in providing information to India about Headley.

Asked by Karan Thapar in the "Devil's Advocate" programme on CNN-IBN if the US was transparent over the Headley issue, Krishna said it was "reciprocating" in equal measure to fight terrorism.

"We have taken up all relevant issues with reference to Headley," Krishna replied when asked if the US had informed Indian authorities about Headley's visit to India in April last year.

Headley, suspected by some to be a double agent who worked for the CIA, on Thursday pleaded guilty to a dozen federal terrorism charges in a Chicago court and admitted his role in planning the 2008 Mumbai terror attack.

Headley also admitted he attended training camps in Pakistan operated by the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) on five separate occasions between 2002 and 2005.
