UP govt assures action in Noida case
The UP govt said a thorough investigation would be done in Noida serial killing case and no guilty would be spared.

New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday said a thorough investigation would be done in the Noida serial killing case and no guilty would be spared. The government admitted to 'carelessness' on the part of Gautam Budh Nagar police in the murders.

''The further investigation in the case which exposed the killing of several children in Noida is ensured and the guilty, if they come to light, would be booked,'' UP Revenue Minister Ambika Chaudhry said.

The Minister said that the police had managed to recover the bodies and arrested two people in the case. ''Even then the action would be taken if the laxity on the part of some officers is found,'' he said.

In a latest development in the serial killing case in a village in Noida, near Delhi, the police has found seven more skeletons of children on Saturday bringing the total number count to 15 and claimed the man who raped and murdered them has confessed.

On Friday, the police had recovered eight skeletons of children.

Search operations are still on at the house from where skeletal remains recovered. The children are believed to have been sexually abused before being murdered.

Satish, 30, was a domestic help in a house near which the bodies were found stuffed in gunny bags and buried in a drain. At least 38 children have disappeared in Nithari in Noida’s Sector 31 in the last two years.

The owner of the house Mohinder Singh himself has confessed to killing Payal, the only person whose body has been identified so far.

Both the accused will be produced in the court on Saturday. The house has been sealed off.
