HYDERABAD: Two workers died and two others are battling for life after inhaling poisonous gas in a chemical factory at Jeedimetla Industrial Development Area in the early hours of Saturday. According to the police, the mishap took place in SV Chemical Factory. While four unskilled workers were working near a reactor, poisonous gas leaked from it. When the four workers fell unconscious after inhaling the poisonous gas, they were shifted to a nearby hospital. Srinivas (30) and Ramu (22) of Medak district were declared brought dead. The other two, Chandu and Phani, are undergoing treatment. Their condition is said to be critical.The Jeedimetla police registered a case under Section 304-A (causing death by negligence) of the IPC against chemical factory owner Achyutha Rao and supervisor Venkateswara Rao.
