HYDERABAD: ProTelangana student unions have decided to up the ante for the separate Telangana movement ahead of the Sakala Janula Samme on September 13 and Telangana Liberation Day on September 17.
The Telangana Students Joint Action Committee (TSJAC) and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) have chalked out a series of programmes to extend their support to the employees and demand an official celebration of the Telangana Liberation Day.The TSJAC gave a call to take out rallies in universities across Telangana region on Thursday demanding the resignation of MLAs and other elected representatives of the Congress and TDP. "The elected representatives should resign to create a constitutional crisis. We will ensure that the resigned leaders get elected in case of byelections," Osmania University JAC spokesperson P Kailash said.
