The state of Madhya Pradesh will perhaps see the last of Narendra Modi's rallies on Saturday as he takes to the stage in Mandsaur to woo voters, one day after Congress vice president addressed a rally and launched an attack on Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led BJP government from the same ground.

Rahul gandhi had questioned the claims of development by state BJP government in the state saying, “UNDP report says 1 lakh infant die in Madhya Pradesh a year due to hunger. What development is BJP claiming in MP?” Now, Narendra Modi is expected to give a stiff response to Rahul Gandhi for his remarks before he addresses another gathering in Ujjain. He is also scheduled to address a rally in Dwarka, Delhi on Saturday.

As he readies himself to take the political battle to the national capital and Rajasthan in the days to come, Modi's Mandsaur-Ujjain rallies will bring to an end the spirited campaign of BJP in its stronghold-MP, leaving the party with the hope that their persistent fight in the state will yield desired results - a clean sweep in assembly polls slated for November 25.
