While discussing the civil nuclear deals between India and USA, Rossow said, "Bill Clinton wanted India to give up nuclear weapons 15 years ago but the relationship has changed enormously by 2015."
Speaking at the Observer Research Foundation and Network18 initiative 'The India-US Dialogue', Rossow said, "India wants to be major IT manufacturing hub, but is not participating in international talks."
Cautioning against creating a regional power in Asia, he added, "US want a multipolar Asia in the future, that no single country can dominate the Asian agenda."
Expressing hope that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Barack Obama will move forward Rossow said, "Modi and Obama wouldn't be meeting together unless they're going to close the deal on things."
