Srinagar: Two police men were killed by separatist guerrillas in a hit-and-run attack in this Jammu and Kashmir capital on Sunday, police said.
A senior police officer told IANS that separatist guerrillas fired at Head Constable Manzoor Ahmad and Constable Abdul Kabir from close range at Qamarwari chowk, four kilometer from Srinagar.
"Both the injured men were taken to a hospital where they succumbed to their injuries," the officer said.
The officer said the policemen were on duty when the terrorists fired at them.
