TIRUCHY: It was a joyful reunion for all the seven crew members of the Italian cruise liner Costa Concordia that sank off the Tuscan island of Giglio in Italy in which more than six people were killed and 60 injured.Family members gave a tearful welcome to their dear ones at the airports here on Friday. The seven members - C Raja (25) of Thuraiyur, A Rajkumar (35) of Ponnamaravathy, R Karthikeyan (24) of Kodumudi, R Krishnan (27) of Salem, G Muthukumar (31) of Aranthangi, P Selvakumar (25) of Sivakasi and A Rajkumar (25) of Neyveli, were part of the catering team of the cruise liner arrived from Italy via Dhoha and Colombo at about 3.30 am.As it took about an hour for the crew members to come to the arrival gate after completing formalities, the ir family members were visibly restless. The anxious family members  hugged and gave them a tearful welcome. A team led by Regional Passport officer, K Balamurugan welcomed the members.Subsequently, they were sent in separate vehicles to their respective places.There were 203 Indians on board the ship - one passenger and 202 crew members.Of them, 201 Indians were rescued. The Italian luxury liner was carrying more than 4,200 people when it ran aground on a reef off Giglio island in western Italy.
