Sleuths of Rajasthan Police's Special Operation Group on Sunday raided the house of a senior clerk of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) and seized carbon copies of several 'optical mark reader' (OMR) answer sheets of Senior Teacher Grade-II Competition Exam-2014.
Prakash Parcha attached with the legal cell of RPSC has been on the run since his name came up as the main accused in connection with irregularities in the exam, according to a release here.
The Special Operation Group sleuths recovered carbon copies of OMR sheets and other conspicuous papers from his house. The accused had allegedly taken the carbon copies of OMR sheets from students after the examination in February this year, and charged them hefty amounts for making changes in blank circles in the original OMR sheet, the release said, quoting SOG-SP Surendra Kumar.
Parcha was arrested in a similar case of Rajasthan Administrative Service Examination in 1997 and a case was lodged at Bajaj Nagar police station in Jaipur against him, the SP said, adding that a charge-sheet had already been filed against him in connection with the case. Police said a hunt is on to nab him.
