Surveillance cameras pick notorious criminal

TRIPUNITHURA: CCTV cameras installed at various points inside the Poornathrayeesha temple helped in nabbing Balakrishnan, a most wanted criminal on Tuesday.There are ten cameras installed at the temple. Balakrishnan, hailing from Kureekkadu, has been involved in various theft cases since 2003 and declared as an absconding criminal by ACJM. The police team led  by Hill Palace Sub Inspector P R Santhosh spotted Balakrishnan on the feeds relayed to the Police control room located near the eastern gateway of the temple.Following this, they traced Balakrishnan and arrested him.
