The Staff Selection Commission undertakes combined all India open exam for the recruitment of Junior Translators.

Staff Selection Commission undertakes a combined all India open examination for the recruitment of Junior Translators (CSOLs) / Junior Hindi Translators (in Subordinate Offices).

Scheme of the exam

The examination consists of two parts:

PART I: Written Examination, carrying 400 marks

PART II: Personality Test (Interview), carrying 100 Marks.

Names of posts, classification, pay band and grade pay, etc. included as per the groups for the Junior Translation Examination

1. Junior Translators(CSOLs) Group B (Non- Gazetted) 9300-34800 4200(GP)

2. Junior Hindi Translators(in Subordinate Offices) Group ?B(Non – Technical) 9300-34800 4200(GP)

How to Apply

Fee: Rupees One Hundred Oonly (Rs 100). Fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation.

Only a single application will be accepted. Multiple applications for this post will be rejected. Junior Translation Examination does not provide the facility of online applications. Late applications won’t be accepted.

Fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex- Servicemen eligible for reservation.

NOTE: The post of Junior Translators (CSOLs) being a Group ‘B’ post, there is no reservation for Ex-Servicemen category. However, benefit of age-relaxation will be acceptable to Ex-Servicemen candidates.

The posts have been identified suitable for the persons suffering from disabilities of forty percent and above of one arm (OA), One Leg (OL), Both Legs (BL), Partially Blind (PB), Blind (B), Partially Deaf (PD) and Deaf (D).
