New Delhi: Bollywood actors Shilpa Shetty and Shiney Ahuja took the stage by storm when they arrived for the launch of the soundtrack of Anurag Basu’s film Metro on March 23.
The film, produced by Ronnie Screwvalas, that features stories that run parallel, is set in the backdrop of a metropolis.
Metro, which is interwoven around the lives of three urban couples wading through a metropolitan life, also stars Konkona Sen Sharma, Irfan Khan, Kay Kay Menon and Sharman Joshi.
The film was promoted at the 37th International Film Festival of India held last year in Goa.
“The film is about moments, it is about life and it has been packaged in a commercial sense. It is a film that breaks the typical typecasting of it being a commercial or a mainstream film,” Shiney had told CNN-IBN during the film festival.
