Soha Ali slams media reports on her gun licence
Soha was allegedly give a weapon's license when she was 18 years old.

New Delhi: Actress Soha Ali Khan has spoken about her gun licence controversy for the first time.

Soha has been issued a show cause notice asking for explanation on why her weapon license should not be cancelled as the eligible age for possessing a weapon license is 21 years but her license was issued when she was 18 years old.

The licence also states that she was a resident of Gurgaon in Haryana at that time.

Soha's father Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi was then in possession of the weapon.

The license was subsequently renewed but her age is not mentioned in the papers.

Incidentally the original file is missing and an FIR will be filed. Though Soha did not say much, she pointed that the facts were inaccurate.

"The reports that have been in the media for the past couple of days have been slightly unfair. They have been slightly selective and in many cases inaccurate as well," Soha, sister of Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan, said.
