Sister Sally evacuated safely after being stranded in Yemen

Indian nun Sister Sally who was stranded in Yemen amid the unrest, has been evacuated safely. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj took to Twitter to announce the news.

Sister Sally had gone missing after an attack on a care home of the missionaries of charity in Aden. One of her colleagues was killed in the attack while an Indian priest - Tom Kozhu-vanlil has been abducted

Swaraj has said that India's diplomatic mission in Djibouti is trying to ascertain his whereabouts to secure his release.

"We have lost two Indian sailors Mahesh Kumar Rajagopal and Deepu Lathika Mohan due to fire in a vessel Al Sadaa. My condolences. The three sailors injured in Yemen are all Indians. They are admitted in Sultan Qaboos Hospital Salalah in Oman," the minister had tweeted.
