CHIKMAGALUR: Shobha Yatra brought the curtains down on the five-day Dattamala Abhiyan organised by Sri Ram Sena at the Datta Paatha atop the BB Hills here on Sunday.   The yatra which started from Sri Kamadhenu Ganapathy temple premises, passed through Ratangiri Road and IG Road before culminating at Sri Bolarameshwara temple. Keladi Sansthan Rajguru Sri Siddalinga Shivacharya Swamy and Sri Sangamananda Swamiji of Kudala Sangama were present. Many devotees took part in the yatra accompanied by cultural troupes and tableaux. Hundreds of Dattamala-wearing devotees, most of them from Udupi, Dakshina Kannada and North Karnataka, thronged the sacred Datta Peetha atop the Baba Buden Giri.  A line of vehicles passed along Kaimara where the security staff checked the details. Devotees took a holy dip in the Honnammanahalla on the way and relinquished their Malas. Later, they proceeded to the Datta Peetha and offered Irumudi.
