HYDERABAD: Bhuma Shobha Nagi Reddy, who resigned from the Praja Rajyam and the Assembly, submitted a fresh resignation letter to the Assembly secretary here on Tuesday.Shobha, who is representing Allagadda in the Assembly, is facing a disqualification petition filed by the PRP for violating the party whip and voting against the government on the noconfidence motion in the House on December 5.Earlier, Shobha had submitted here resignation along with 29 other proJagan MLAs in protest against inclusion of former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy's name in the FIR filed by the CBI in the case against Kadapa MP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy case. But her resignation was rejected by the speaker. In a twopage open letter to the media, she said the former PRP president and whip did not have any right to demand her disqualification because they no longer remained PRP leaders after taking the Congress party's membership. "PRP no more exists in the state and the Election Commission has even declared the party's dissolution. In that situation there was no meaning in issuing a whip and there was no question of violating the whip.''As per the Constitution, there was no need for speaker's permission for merger of parties, she said and declared that she would move the court if the speaker disqualified her.
