Shettar meets governor

Chief minister Jagadish Shettar called on Governor H R Bhardwaj at Raj Bhavan late on Sunday evening to discuss about the appointment of Lokayukta.

According to sources, Shettar went to Raj Bhavan to apprise the Governor about steps being initiated by his government to fill up the Lokayukta post which is lying vacant for a year now.

The government had submitted before the High Court last week that it had initiated the process of appointing Lokayukta.
