New Delhi: One of the greatest cricketers of all time, Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, is apparently now on Twitter and his handle on the microblogging service is @sachin_rt.
Though quite a few fake Sachin twitter profiles have been active on Twitter for quite some time, the 'real' Sachin's presence on Twitter was confirmed by photographer Atul Kasbekar (@atulkasbekar) in a tweet.
"Ladies n Gentlemen it is my proud privilege to introduce Finally to Twitter, SACHIN TENDULKAR, @sachin_rt, follow the King now, go go go !!!" posted Atul.

Cricketer Zahir Khan also verified Sachin's twitter account with a tweet, "Yes! Its true sachin tendulkar is on twitter on @sachin_rt"
Though Sachin's Twitter account is yet to be officially verified by Twitter, this seems to be the real thing as evident by the candid photos posted on the timeline.

Within just a few hours of his joining Twitter, the cricketing great has attracted thousands of followers and within a few days, given Sachin's popularity, his could be one of the most followed Twitter profiles in India.
