Rs 10 lakh worth gold ornaments stolen

HYDERABAD: Unidentified persons decamped with gold ornaments worth `10 lakh from the house of a retired employee of Andhra Pradesh Secretariat here. The incident took place at Alwal. According to police, burglars entered the house when the victim's family were out of station. On Wednesday, when the family returned home they found the gold ornaments missing.  The victim identified as Kistaiah was staying with his family at West Venkatapuram in Alwal. His family had gone to  Yadgirigutta on April 14. He lodged a complaint with Alwal police. Police have booked a case and investigation is on.
