Row over street ganamela

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Fort police on Monday evening charged five street singers with creating public nuisance at the Fort area after a group of people objected to the ‘ganamela.’ Police officials identified the singers as Joy Charan, Sreekumar, Sayid, Vinod and Jojo. The men had staged the performance for raising funds for the treatment of a child, but the police intervened after a group of people objected to it. The incident occurred around 6.30 p.m.
