HYDERABAD: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) will take up special summary revision of photo electoral rolls for 2012 in respect of 15 Assembly constituencies in Hyderabad district from Wednesday.The Election Commission has issued a schedule for the conduct of special summary revision of photo electoral rolls with reference to Jan 1, 2012 as the qualifying date. The schedule is as follows: draft publication of rolls (Nov 8), period for filing claims and objections (Nov 8 to 29), reading of relevant part/section of photo electoral rolls in gram sabha/local bodies and RWA meetings etc and verification of names (Nov 11 and 18).Special campaign with booth level agents of political parties for receiving claims and objections will be undertaken on Nov 12, 13, 20 and 27) and the final electoral rolls will be published on Jan 5, 2012.Draft electoral roll would be published on Nov 8 in respect of 15 assembly constituencies in Hyderabad district in all the designated locations ie, ERO/AERO offices, polling station locations (buildings), e-seva centres, fair price shops and ward offices.
