Reception given to British students

KOCHI: As part of the educational and cultural exchange programme, a welcome ceremony was organised for 24 students and three teachers of Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Favershan, Kent, UK, at Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Eroor, on Wednesday.They were greeted with a chenda melam and thalappoli by the students.  E Ramankutty, director, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi Kendra, was also present.  The team will stay with students and host families and leave for UK on October 29.
