Rajasthan's Palace On Wheels registers highest occupancy
There are 111 tourists on board the Palace Of Wheels (POW) which will complete its season trips later this month, Managing Director of RTDC and Director Tourism Vikram Singh said.

Jaipur: Palace On Wheels, Rajasthan's famous luxury heritage train, has registered the highest occupancy of 111 tourists for the first time this season, an official of Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation said on Thursday.

There are 111 tourists on board the Palace Of Wheels (POW) which will complete its season trips later this month, Managing Director of RTDC and Director Tourism Vikram Singh said.

POW begins its journey from September to April every year and it was the highest number with full occupancy, he added.

Travellers hailing from Britain, Sweden, Australia, USA, South Africa, Canada, Germany, France and Switzerland are among those on board along with a few Indian tourists, he said.

On their arrival this morning, the passengers were given a traditional welcome at Gandhi Nagar station here, the MD said.
