Jaipur: A nine-year old boy who fell into the 200-feet borewell on Wednesday in Rajasthan died on Saturday.
The incident occurred when the boy was flying a kite near his house in Charda Kala village near Hindon City in Karauli district, some 200 km from Jaipur, during which he fell into the borewell about 3 pm on Wednesday.
Following the incident, a rescue operation was launched to save the boy. He had been stuck inside the borewell for the 20 hours after which the rescue operations began. The boy's family members and the villagers had accused the authorities of delaying the rescue operations due to lack of resources.
