Quadruplets born in city

BANGALORE: Twenty-one-year-old Nafeesa P gave birth to quadruplets on October 21 at a city hospital on Saturday. According to doctors, it is the rarest of rare cases which occur in about one in five lakh.The babies — two boys and two girls — weighing between 1.02 kg and 1.35 kg  are doing fine and are currently under observation in the hospital’s ICU. The children were born on October 21, at 2.21:56 pm, 2.22:27 pm, 2.23:10 pm, and 2.23:32 pm, under Dr Leela Bhagwan’s supervision.“The mother was trying for a second baby and later came to know she was carrying quadruplets,” Dr Leela Dr Leela Bhagwan told.
