Poll days paid holidays

BHUBANESWAR: The State Government has declared the five panchayat poll days __ February 11, 13, 15, 17 and 19 __ as regular paid holidays. A notification in this regard was issued by the Labour and Employment Department on Saturday. The notification said managements of all business, trade, industrial undertakings, shop and commercial establishments should declare poll day, as fixed for their respective areas, as holiday for convenience of employees to cast their votes.
