Noida: More details are expected to be unearthed in the gruesome children's sexual assault and murder case in Noida as accused Moninder Singh Pandher and Surendra Koli undergo Narco test on January 5 in Ahmedabad.
This was announced by UP Additional Director-General of Police A C Sharma after he visited Nithari village, the site of the macabre serial killing of children, along with the state Home Secretary Arun Kumar Singh.
"The narco-analysis of the accused will be conducted in Ahmedabad on January five," Sharma told reporters on Tuesday.
Accused of sexual abuse and murder of at least 17 children, Moninder and Surender were sent by the Remand Magistrate of Gautam Buddh Nagar Court to further ten days` custody.
The court also granted police permission for narco analysis of the two accused. The narco analysis test will take place at a lab in Bangalore.
The investigators asked the court for ten more days` remand, saying further interrogation was required to complete the recovery of the human remains of the victims.
The court had earlier sent the duo to two days` police custody that ended on Monday. The accused were not represented by any lawyers until Tuesday.
