Para-military forces for polls

BELLARY: The government plans to take assistance of the para-military forces to conduct peaceful by-election in Bellary, scheduled to be held on November 30, said DC A A Biswas.The DC said on Saturday, “Though the district police have taken precautionary measures, the assistance of para-military forces would be taken considering the increase in crime activities in border areas near AP.” He said Electronic Voting Machines will be used for voting during the polls. A total of 192 polling booths will be set up, he said.
