HYDERABAD: After reviewing the core committee recommendations on speedy disposal of government files at a meeting here on Wednesday, chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy wanted the committee to also examine re-organisation of Secretariat departments and man-power planning. A cabinet sub-committee will be constituted to study the recommendations before sending it to the Cabinet.According to a press release by the chief minister’s office, a core committee with secretaries as members was set up to examine the recommendations of second Administrative Reforms Commission (ARC) headed by Union minister M Veerappa Moily. The main reasons for delay in file disposal are processing of files at five levels and accountability. Recommendations for speedy disposal include single file system in selected departments, processing of files only at three levels, in-service training for all secretariat staff once in five years.
