New Delhi: The nominees for different categories for the 85th Academy Awards are revealed at a glittering event in Beverly Hills, California. One of the most prestigious film awards, Oscar is known for its credibility and value.

This year will see a tough battle among films such as 'Argo', 'Skyfall', 'The Dark Knight Rises' and 'The Avengers'. 'Zero Dark Thirty' and 'Lincoln' will also be in the race.

Seth MacFarlane and Emma Stone will have the privilege of announcing the names of the nominees.

After the nominations are over, the members of the US Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will select the winners in different categories.
