BHUBANESWAR: Youth activist Debi Prasad Prusty on Saturday criticised the State and police administration alleging that they were acting under pressure from those responsible for ‘horse-trading’ in last year’s Rajya Sabha polls.Referring to a complaint filed by him against Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, BJD Rajya Sabha member Pyarimohan Mohapatra and the two ministers of state __ Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak and Pushpendra Singhdeo __ at the Capital Police Station on August 5, Prusty alleged that police are yet to register a case.Prusty said now the Election Commission has directed the Chief Secretary to file an FIR in connection with ‘horse-trading’ and alleged that police are sitting over his complaint.Warning that the entire State is watching the role of the administration on the issue, he said no one is above law.He said the same fate of former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh, who has been jailed in the cashfor- vote scam, awaits those who are involved in ‘horsetrading’ in Orissa.
