Activists of NSUI and Youth Congress on Saturday protested against the use of word Gandhigiri in the Bollywood flick.
Indore: Activists of National Students' Union of India (NSUI) and Youth Congress on Saturday protested against the use of word Gandhigiri in the latest Hindi movie Lage Raho Munna Bhai and burnt an effigy of the film director and its posters.
The activists described the term as a "disrespect" towards the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi and demanded its deletion from the Sanjay Dutt-starrer and Rajkumar Hirani-directed hit movie.
They warned of disrupting the film's shows if their demand was not met. The workers were led by Deepak Chabra, State Secretary of NSUI, the students' wing of Congress.
