NELLORE: “There is no question of going back on resignation submitted in protest against inclusion of late YS Rajasekhara Reddy's name in the CBI FIR,'' said Kovur TDP MLA N Prasannakumar Reddy.Speaking to mediapersons here on Thursday, Prasannakumar Reddy, who was here to participate in the Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations in his constituency, said all 26 MLAs and Nellore MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy were firm on their resignations. It is unfortunate that the CBI has become a tool in the hands of the central government adopting undemocratic and unethical means against those not toeing it line. This was evident from the inclusion of Rajasekhara Reddy's name in the CBI FIR, unmindful of the fact that the late chief minister was solely responsible for the Congress coming to power twice in the state.Condemning TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu's charge that 26 MLAs quit their posts after accepting Rs 10 crore from Jagan, the MLA dared Naidu for a vow in the Kanipakam temple reiterating his charge as the resigned MLAs were ready for such a pledge in the temple denying the charge.

What's your reaction?
