TIRUCHY: DMK treasurer MK Stalin on Friday compared his party candidate and ex-minister KN Nehru to a comb, when he denied that his party’s poll campaign would be hit due to Nehru’s absence in the field.When scribes asked if Nehru’s imprisonment would affect the poll campaign for Tiruchy West, he quoted a Tamil proverb and said one could not stop a marriage, by hiding the comb.Addressing the media on the prison premises after visiting DMK functionaries, Stalin said, though former Minister KN Nehru, the candidate for Tiruchy West bypoll is in the prison, all the party workers together would represent him and work for his victory. He said that Nehru is ready to face any number of cases against him.Just before Stalin’s arrival, DMK MLA KC Palanisamy was taken to the Kulithalai court and so Stalin could not meet him.
