Nokia is working with publishers to launch e-books and audiobooks designed for Nokia Lumia phones.
New Delhi: Nokia announced a new e-reader app for its Lumia range of Windows Phone devices called Nokia Reading at the ongoing Mobile World Congress at Barcelona.
The Nokia Reading app will compete with Amazon's Kindle app for Windows Phone 7.
The app which will start rolling out for UK, France, Italy, Spain, Russia and Germany markets from April has been designed to be a reading hub and users will be able to read e-books on the go. Nokia also plans to add content from websites to the Nokia Reading app where users can create their own "news stream" magazine.
Nokia is working with publishers such as Penguin, Hachette and Pearson to launch e-books and audiobooks designed for Nokia Lumia phones.
