Mumbai: Mumbai Police on Friday claimed to have recovered the car in which Indrani Mukherjea's daughter Sheena Bora was allegedly killed.
Indrani, the prime accused in the Sheena Bora murder case, her husband and former Star India CEO Peter Mukerjea, and others who have come under the investigators' scanner on Friday faced a day-long interrogation.
Peter and Indrani's daughter Vidhie Mukerjea was also questioned at Khar police station in Mumbai.
On Thursday, the police had claimed that Indrani confessed to murdering Sheena and that they were probing the financial transactions of Indrani and Peter.
Peter Mukerjea, significantly, was summoned to the police station and questioned for the third consecutive day on Friday.
The police custody of Indrani, her second husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyam Rai, the three accused in the case, would end on Saturday.
According to the police, 24-year-old Sheena Bora was murdered on April 24, 2012, and her body burnt and disposed of in the neighbouring Raigad district by Indrani, Khanna and Rai.
